Andrew Kaen is a well rounded published photographer whose fresh perspectives & unique eye have assisted many artists, models, & others through the years. Whether on location or in his private studio, Andrew brings to life (& light) various aspects of a clients personality, while maintaining the vision of each individual. Not one to be pigeon-holed, this shutter bug has snapped pictures all over the world. Andrew has been published in several publications including Show Business Weekly, New York Magazine, Timeout NY, Ross Reports, & Variety Magazine & he includes magazine covers, layouts, & album (cd) covers & promos as some of his favorite works. Andrew is also the principle photographer for the NY International Independent Film & Video Festival, a gallery of his photos can be seen at www.nyfilmvideo.com. From award shows to benefits to websites, to magazines, Andrew has contributed to the visual aesthetic of many successful events & artists.

A peaceful man with a serene heart, Andrew is also a performance poet who goes by the name ReAwakennd Poet, & has been writing his healing poems with the theme of peace & the realization of our true potential since 1998. ReAwakennd is an acronym of his real name Andrew Kaen and defines who and what he is all about – helping people realize “we are all One.” Andrew supports the arts & it’s many facets through contribution, service & action. We, The World, is an organization that actively encourages & promotes worldwide peace and sustainability. Andrew Kaen is a long standing member of this organization & is the principle coordinator of events for 11 Days of Global Unity. He received fiscal sponsorship with We, The World and has started a new organization called Planet Heart.

I was the photographer for this short-lived theatre mag in 1999 and of their five issues, I shot four of their covers and inside photos.

I was the unofficial photographer for them, and did work for them from 1997 through 2000. My work appeared on their promotional posters and brochures in 1999.
